PART A

1 Read chapter 6 and 7 of your Sec Two Geography Textbook.

2 Draw a mind map of chapter 7 on either A4 or A3 sized paper, your mind map should include as much relevant information as possible and marks will be allocated for presentation (use colour) and content. If you wish, you may do this on computer

PART B

3 Search the internet for information about land reclaimation projects in Dubai and put the results of your search in a write-up of one of the projects. The length if your write-up should be at least one page.

4 If your work is merely a cut-and-paste, your marks will be down graded.

5 Your work must be properly paragraphed and neatly presented.

6 Photographs of the project must be included.

7 your write-up must answer the following questions:
-Where is Dubai? (Show the location of Dubai on a world map)
-Why was there a need to create new islands in Dubai?
-How was the construction carried out?
-What will the new land be used for?
-What are your opinions/thoughts/feelings about these projects?
(must be at least one paragraph)

8 STRICTLY NO COPYING FROM EACH OTHER! YOUR WORK MUST BE YOUR OWN! TAKE PRIDE IN YOUR WORK!
